A new take on classic monster movie King Kong

The remake of all time hit movie 'King Kong' is in its final phase. Kong: Skull Island is scheduled to be released on March 10th 2017. This upcoming monster movie is directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts and will serve as the second movie in Legendary's Monsterverse. The script of this film comes from Max Borenstein, John Gatins, Dan Gilroy, and Derek Connolly. The movie will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Considered to be a sequel to the 2014 Godzilla movie, It will definitely change the perceptions of the origin of the most powerful monster myth of all time. 

The king of apes is back on screen to provide its franchise a new outlook. Eventhough it begins a completely new timeline, directors have informed that they will honour the foundations laid by the previous movies. The star-studded cast of this movie includes Tom Hiddleson, Brie Larson (2016 Oscar Winning Actress) and Samuel L. Jackson. Kong : Skull Island will immerse the audience in the nail gripping adventure in the mysterious and deadly home of Kong, the king of apes.

Kong: Skull Island is about a venture in 1970's by a group of explorers travelling into an unknown island which is the domain of monsters including Kong. Kong's kind was wiped by the Skullcrawlers, the apex predators of the island.

The trailer of the movie is promising and is expected to strikingly impress its fans.

Godzilla 2 (2018) will be the third movie in the Monsterverse and be followed by Godzilla vs Kong (2020). The main concern for the crossover movie will be their size and is considered to be incompatible.

There is a rumor that there would be an after credit scene which may reveal Godzilla 2 teaser. Let's hope this movie will rise up to the expectations of its fans.
